Ten years ago today was Senior Skip Day. Ten years ago today I watched students - high school counterparts - escape a building designed to be safe. Ten years ago I witnessed "Columbine".
I grew up in Colorado - about three hours southwest of Littleton. I was heavily involved with Speech & Debate and I remember competing against Columbine students. I also vividly remember this sense of disbelief - ten years later that disbelief still exists.
I say a prayer today to bless those impacted by the Columbine tragedy. I saw a prayer to guide us to help those, whether students or otherwise, in need.
